Ten minutes.
Comfortable on the bike.

A short routine for riders who are sore where they shouldn't be. Six to eight moves, nothing to buy, done before your coffee's cold — from a bike fitter who has put thousands of riders on a bike properly.

  • 01A one-page PDF you can stick on the fridge or screenshot to your phone.
  • 02A follow-along video — I do it, you do it, no counting required.
  • 03The moves that actually matter for hips, back and neck on a bike. Not forty. Six to eight.

One email with the routine, then a few more on fit and training. Unsubscribe whenever. I'm not going to sell your address — I've enough on.

Start with a 15‑minute call

Tell me what's bugging you on the bike and what you want out of your riding. You'll leave the call with a free 4-week training plan matched to your hours, and a clear picture of what's holding you back — position, fitness or both. No charge, no pitch.

Who it's for02 / 05

Riders who want to keep going, not keep hurting

This is for you if you're 35 or over and the bike doesn't feel the way it used to. You've still got the legs. It's the rest of you that complains.

  • Sore saddle, numb hands, or a back that tightens up after an hour.
  • You want to keep your fitness and strength without wrecking yourself.
  • You've tried stretching off YouTube and it didn't stick.
  • You'd rather have a short routine you'll actually do than a long one you won't.
What happens next03 / 05

Three steps, no faff

  1. 1

    Today — the routine

The PDF and the video land in your inbox within a few minutes. Do it tonight if you like.

  2. 2

This week — a few emails

Short ones, on how fit and training work together — why a good position makes training easier, and why training makes the position hold.

  3. 3

    January — an invitation

The Bunch opens on 5 January 2027. The courses — Fit Yourself at Home, the 10-day Mobility Playbook, Strength for 35+ Cyclists — are free in the community, and the first 50 free members get a position review as well. Paid membership is $69 a month for founding members (rising to $97 from 1 February) and includes a full video review of your position within 7 days, a TrainingPeaks plan matched to your goal and hours, and a fortnightly group call. 90-day guarantee: more comfortable on the bike or you don't pay.

About Dougie04 / 05

Bike fitter. Edinburgh. Since 2014.

I'm Dougie Shaw. I run Edinburgh Bike Fitting at 81 Leith Walk, where I've fitted thousands of riders — club racers, commuters, folk who just want to do the Sunday loop without a sore neck.

The routine comes from watching the same things go wrong on the jig, week after week. Stiff hips, a locked-up thoracic spine, hamstrings that won't let the pelvis sit where it should. You can fix a lot of that in ten minutes a day. This is the ten minutes.
